  • The Popeye Jones All-Stars (Rob) saddled up LeBron and rode him to victory to defeat Shock and Hawes (Ziller), 6-3
  • Gerald Green's Sock (Loren) is getting a tatoo of Amare, sending him a fruit basket, and becoming a Black Jesus disciple after defeating The Basketbawfuls (Matt), 6-2
  • Peeler, Dele, Dumas LLC (Trey) is 100% responsible for Hinrich's injury, and is reaping all the benefits (via Ben Gordon) while defeating Neto's Happy Hour (Moore), 7-2
  • The Cabbage Blatche Kids (Ryan) showed plenty of balance in defeating At the Hive (Rohan), 7-2
  • Hoosier Haddadi (Chip) looked strong, even without Deron in defeating WelcomeToTheVujchine (Will), 6-3.  Will is sending Tony Parker get well soon cards daily.
  • Maxiell's Baby Food (Corn) will be responsible for 10,000 votes for Biedrins to get into the All-Star game after defeating Witty Team Name (Watson), 7-2
  • FreeMarcin (Ben Q.) enjoyed some gaudy production from CP...and Joel Pryzbilla while defeating The Iceman Cometh (Graydon) , 4-2
  • StackJaxxx (Holly) didn't play Kevin Durant once, and still beat  5-4 Ryne @ SLAM (Ryne), 5-3

Curb Stomp of the Week: Each week I'll highlight one category from one of the match-ups that got a little out of hand.  Half of the fun is praising the winner for their outright dominance, but we know that the real reason is to rub it in the face of whoever had the misfortune of picking a bunch of athletes whose play is completely beyond their control.  Suckers!

This week's Curb Stomp is...again, a tie:

  • Peeler, Dumas, Dele LLC netted an unbelievable 41 threes to Neto's Happy Hour's 18.  Yikes.  But in Moore's defense, Blake Ahearn and Elton Brown were inactive this week because...well, their season hasn't started yet.  D-LEAGUE!
  • Cabbage Blatche Kids.  168 rebounds.  At the Hive.  64 rebounds.  I don't even know what to say.

EPIC FAIL of the Week: EPIC FAIL will go to the two teams who were so completely awful in one particular category (hell, why restrict it to just one?), that it just needs to be mentioned.

This week's EPIC FAIL belongs to The Iceman Cometh (2 in a row!  Go Graydon!) and FreeMarcin...for tying in three categories (threes, boards, blocks).  There's nothing particularly pathetic about their production in those three categories, but come on; it's just plain boring.

Premature Declaration of Excellence in the Field of Draftsmithing: This weekly award will be based on which team appears to have drafted/maneuvered for the best value for that particular week.

This week's Declaration is pretty inconclusive, but Witty Team Name (Watson) edges out the pack behind Wade (#1 overall on Yahoo!'s average production rankings) and Pau (#14 on the same rankings).  Pretty meh, but the top producers were spread out nicely.
